Connect your brand new Samsung Galaxy S4 to WiFi in following simple steps :

1. Click on Option Key.

2. You will see a list of small menu appears from the bottom. Click on Settings option.

3. On the settings screen, you will see the Wi-Fi is turned on (by default). Click on the Wi-Fi.
  
4. You will see a list of surrounding detected Wi-Fi networks. Tap on the one belong to your home/work  place.

5. Enter the password and click on Connect.

1. Launch any browser and access router settings by entering http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar.
2.  To set up the VPN server:
1) Click "VPN Server" on the Advanced Settings menu on the left panel.
2) On the "Enable PPTP Server" item, select "Enable".
3) Select type of Broadcast Support.
4) Select type of Force MPPE Encyrption.
5) Type a range of IP addresses for the VPN clients.  The example on the screenshot  below shows an IP address range of "192.168.10.11" to "192.168.10.20".
*The specified IP address range can be from 192.168.10.2 to 192.168.10.254. As a VPN server, the ASUS router can assign only a maximum number of ten IP addresses. 
6) Input a username and password for VPN clients.  A maximum of ten usernames and passwords can be added. 
7) Enter a username and password and click “⊕”.(Expand)

3. Click "Apply" to save settings.

※To access the VPN server, users requesting for VPN access would need the WAN IP address of the ASUS router.   To check the WAN IP address:
"(1) Click ""Network Map"" on the left panel.
(2) Click ""Internet Status"".
(3) Take note of the WAN IP address listed under Internet Status."

※ If your ISP is providing a Dynamic IP address to your network, your WAN IP address may change even after applying the settings.  Configure the ASUS DDNS setting to set up a fixed domain name.
※ The Broadcast Support setting in 2-(3) allows broadcast packet transfers between VPN clients and local clients.
For example, the PC needs to send the broadcast packets to all LAN PCs to know which PC enables the Network Place Service.
The VPN client cannot send broadcast packets to the LAN while the Broadcast Support setting is disabled.
When Broadcast Support is disabled, VPN clients cannot detect the PC running Windows Network Place and will not be able to locate other PCs in the network.  To connect to PCs in the LAN, VPN clients will manually have to type the IP address to connect to a PC in the LAN.
※In Step 2-(4), administrators can set up VPN MPPE encryption settings and VPN client encryption settings based on the table below:
