Steps to follow :

1)From the Home menu-> ‘Settings'->‘WiFi'
2)If the Wi-Fi status says ‘Off', flip the switch to the right. The status should change to ‘On' and the switch will fill up with colour.
3)It will be more convenient to check the box which says ‘Notify me when new networks are found'.
4)Your phone will now search for Wi-Fi networks.
5)When your network appears tap on its name to connect.

  • If it's an open network your phone will connect straight away.
  • If the network is secured you'll need to enter username and password login details to access it - you should be able to obtain these from your network administrator.

Note that even open networks may have a security layer which requires you to enter login details into the phone's web browser before you can go any further.

Some networks may be hidden, in which case they won't appear on the search list. You'll need to add a hidden network manually:

1.In the ‘WiFi' section scroll to the bottom and tap ‘advanced'
2.Tap the plus (+) icon at the bottom of the screen.
3.Here you can enter the hidden network's name and other details to add the network to your list.
